Our ergonomically engineered machine utilizes the principles of HIT (high intensity training).  The exercise is performed with a higher level of effort, or intensity, therefore, the amount of time involved in the exercise is shorter.  Your body will spend the rest of the day expending energy to recover from the workout.  This is commonly known as EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption).  More oxygen is consumed recovering from this type of exercise than from a steady state workout like jogging or walking - and more calories are burned as a result of this 4 minute exercise than from 60 minutes of walking on a treadmill.  The calorie burn continues long after the workout!
